Whether it be an innovative large-scale project or a beautifully-designed office fit-out, I work closely with my clients to discuss their initial concept and how they want to exemplify their vision of the project. It might be highlighting specific design aspects or telling a story about how the entire structure fits within its environment. As a commercial architectural photographer in Sydney, I like to spend time simply observing the space to get a sense of the play of light and shadows, determining how to best convey the project and its features in this unique city. This helps open myself to the environment both intellectually and emotionally which, in turn, allows photographic ideas and opportunities to manifest.
