The Project

A circa 1921 woolstore on the Pyrmont peninsula, reimagined by Bates Smart and Gray Puksand for Kador. The tension between exposed brick and timber and the precision of a contemporary fitout is what gives this building its character.

The Approach

Heritage buildings reward patience. The goal was to find the moments where old and new are in genuine conversation, rather than simply coexisting.
